We had 12 residents attend, covering practical topics including:

🛡️Virus prevention and protection basics
🔐Essential device security practices
🖥️Device health, updates, and maintenance
🎓 Building confidence with everyday technology
It was a highly engaging session with plenty of questions during the Q&A, followed by some great one-on-one conversations afterwards — and of course, coffee and cake to wrap things up.
A big thank you to Megan Lia and the team at 𝐎𝐚𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 for the opportunity, and to all the residents who took the time to attend. I genuinely hope everyone walked away with a bit more confidence and practical knowledge.
These sessions will continue across other retirement villages each month, and I look forward to returning to Oak Tree again soon with a new topic.
