Who we are.
Connect2Employment is a not-for-profit division of Connect2Group based in Cleveland. C2G delivers NDIS Finding and Keeping a Job programs, and employment and support opportunities for Disability Employment Services (DES ESS) helping individuals with Intellectual and/or Learning Disabilities find independence through employment in the community. We are looking for a part time marketing/business development candidate to work during school hours on a 12 month fixed term basis.

The Employment Marketing Consultant will undertake marketing and business development activities to assist with the placement of job seekers. The role encompasses typical business development tasks including cold calling and marketing for DES and SLES clients.

As an Employment Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Positively marketing Connect2Employment to a wide variety of businesses/organisations to promote Employment Services.
Conducting all marketing activities in accordance with Connect2Group’s brand and image
Advocate Connect2Group’s employment strategy with businesses and organisations to develop a pipeline of employment opportunities.
Effectively participating and contributing to the discussion and implementation of Connect2Employment marketing strategies
Maintaining regular contact with organisations and monitor progress with current and future service opportunities.
Encouraging and supporting organisations to offer services or programs designed to offer employment to participants.
Identifying and sourcing appropriate pre-employment training opportunities
Keeping up to date registers of marketing activities
Continually surveying the job markets in order to source vacancies.
Now, let’s talk about you – what you will need is:
Marketing and business development skills and or experience
Extensive experience in Sales/Marketing and Communication
Previous experience in Community Services or related field
Organisational and time management skills including the ability to cope with high volumes of work, changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people from varied backgrounds who may experience communication barriers.
Ability to set priorities, effectively manage time, take initiative and undertake a range of duties with limited supervision.
Knowledge of or ability to learn about and understand issues of disability employment support service provision.
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain).
A valid C class Driving Licence as this role will travel to visit clients and workplaces.
COVID -19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation evidence required.
