The role

Myhorizon is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced self-motivated and passionate Employment Coordinator to join our Employment & Training team based at one of our sites covering South East Region (Capalaba, Cleveland, Dunwich, Stones Corner, Wynnum, Mt Gravatt)

This position is full-time with a RDO system.

Working with a friendly team, you will be responsible for coordinating training and placement through case management of a diverse group of individuals, working closely with Employers, the local community and industry groups to secure sustainable work opportunities for our Participants.

The candidate

To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate the following:

Proven ability to engage and motivate participants by facilitating work experience, work trials, and per-vocational training with the aim to achieve sustainable employment.
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, maintain quality record management systems and compliance with DES framework and guidelines.
Ability to work in a team environment to uphold Myhorizon mission and values, exercise autonomy to case manage and coordinate work activities.
Build rapport, and influence both internal and external stakeholders to provide job opportunities for people with a disability.
Sound understanding of Microsoft Suite programs, and ability to acquire and retain information from database programs and Government Employment System.
