Redland City Council is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a Programs and Projects Officer to join a dynamic Creative Arts team based at Redland Art Galleries (RAG). This role is responsible for coordinating public facing programs, events and projects along with overseeing the marketing and communication of RAG exhibitions, programs and events.

 

Guided by our Values, you will:

 

  • Design and coordinate the public facing programs and events to meet high standards of service delivery in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate and oversee the production of a range of quality marketing and communication documentation;
  • Lead, monitor and manage staffing which supports the delivery of programs, events and projects to ensure service delivery standards are met; and
  • Provide a high level of customer service, advice and support to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • has experience working effectively in the fast-paced environment of an art gallery and the ability to achieve deadlines and complete projects to a high standard.
  • has highly developed knowledge of visual arts, visual arts practice, with an understanding and awareness of First Nations arts and culture, and new media art, in the operations of a public art gallery and collections.
  • has understanding and experience in marketing and communications in a gallery context with the ability to effectively communicate to a range of stakeholders.
  • has experience in collaborating and working positively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.

Eligibility

 

  • You’ll hold a current C Class Drivers licence.
