Your opportunity
Our Plumbing Services Team are looking for a Plumbing Inspector to join them! This position is multi-level with the opportunity once all certificates are achieved to progress to level 5! You will be responsible for the assessment of plumbing and drainage applications including carrying out inspections, enforcing plumbing and drainage works in accordance with legislation and Council policies and procedures. This role forms part of a close nit and supportive team who are looking for individuals who will enjoy working in a team environment but can also work autonomously as required.

We would love to hear from you or someone you know who:
Has well developed knowledge of Plumbing and Drainage legislation and Australia Standards AS/NZS 3500.
Has previous experience and knowledge in domestic and commercial/industrial plumbing and drainage design, construction and installation.
Has excellent organisational, customer service, time management and problem solving skills.
Can work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Is a great communicator who can engage with a diverse client base and other employees.
Can use the Microsoft Office Suite and Apple iPads.

Eligibility
Level 4
You’ll possess a current Plumber’s and Drainer’s licence as per the provisions of the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018
You’ll possess a current open class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence

Level 5

Certificate – Design and size domestic treatment plan disposal system, or equivalent
Certificate – Design On-site sewerage facilities, or equivalent
Certificate – Prepare simple sketches and drawings, or equivalent
Certificate – Read and Interpret plans and specifications, or equivalent
Competent in the following: Thermostatic mixing valve
Backflow prevention
Solar and heat pump hot water system installation
