We support older people to stay safe at home under the Australian Government’s Support at Home program. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable RN to join our small team and provide quality, compassionate care across Russell, Macleay, Lamb and Karragarra Islands. You’ll work closely with the care team to complete client intake assessments, monitor client and support good clinical management through clear documentation, and timely escalation when things change.

At a glance:

• Type: Casual
• Hours: Approx. 12 paid hours per week (minimum availability 2.5 days per week) (includes client time, paid admin time, and travel time between clients)
• Ordinary hours: 6:00am–6:00pm
• Pay (casual): approx. $59–$64 per hour (weekday base under MA000034 based on classification/experience; penalties apply for weekends/public holidays).

What you’ll be doing:

• Client intake assessments and follow-up monitoring
• Home-based nursing care and clinical support
• Contribute to clinical management (care planning input, risk flags, escalation, handover, quality and safety)
• Liaise with clients, families, GPs, allied health, and the care team
• Keep documentation and clinical notes up to date

You’ll need:

• Current AHPRA registration (RN)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Live locally on the SMB Islands
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence
• Police check (or able to obtain quickly)
• Community/aged care experience is a plus
