Female Disability Support Worker

Two young ladies with vision impairment and intellectual disabilities require a female support worker. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, enjoy music, the gym, swimming and community outings. The role will assist the 2 ladies with their weekly activities and support with daily living at home, including personal care. Must be physically fit and energetic due to the nature of the position. Full training provided, including cane training. Wages are paid above award.

Shifts available:

24 hours every week plus 1 weekend per month
Being flexible to pick up extra shifts will be highly regarded


Must be fit and energetic
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
You will also need to be punctual, reliable and well presented
Current Open Queensland Driver’s License
Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
Current Yellow Card/ NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Covid-19 Infection Control Training Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Living Locally highly desirable
Covid-19 vaccinated preferred
